Flying high after this one
''Other Birds'' is such an atmospheric read that I could'nt put it down. I think I'm saying that a lot... but it's true! Although I'm not that fond of birds, Dellawisps are kind of cute, which is coming to think of it, not that important at all. Anyway, these birds inhabit the apartment complex, where Zoey moves into her mother's studio apartment. By getting to know her and the other residents, it becomes clear that they all feel lonely and sad, trying to hide these feelings. This is such a sweet and compassionate story of magical realsim and all those people coming together, learning to love. Sometimes you just don't know what happens under the surface but that doesn't mean, it doesn't exist. Also. There is a Pigeon named Pigeon. -
