Funny Story

This was the first Emily Henry book I've read and I instantly fell in love. Her writing is so light-hearted and witty and i instantly adored the male protagonist Miles. Emily Herny just knows how to write great rom-coms. A book i simply could not put down.

Wow, Daphne and Miles have my whole heart. Moving in with your ex-fiance's new girlfriend's ex is quite the story, and I loved every second of it. Emily Henry's writing is just phenomenal, and I got lost in the story so easily. I'm going to rec this to everyone I know!

Emily Henry did it again. What can I say? I really loved it, I think it's my second favourite book by her. I loved the story so much and could really connect to both Daphne and Miles. As always, Emily Henry's writing is amazing and it was hard to put down. Highly recommend!

That was indeed a funny story! This book had charm, humor, the necessary depth and interesting characters - everything a real rom-com story need! From second one, I had a lot of fun following the story of Daphne and Miles, how they get closer and how they interact with each other, really had everything you want in a funny romance novel. And I immediately got the vibe of a good classic rom-com film from the 2000s like “How to lose a Guy in 10 days” or “The Holiday”. I don't know, it was just a comforting read and because of that I would definitely say that this is by far my favorite Emily Henry book!

With the usual charm, dry humor and a cute cast of characters, "Funny Story" was an amazing book by Emily Henry (again). Since I loved Booklovers and Happy Place, I was really looking forward to this, and I was not disappointed! I really liked the parts with Daphne as a librarian and the Lake Town feeling did a lot for the story too. With (mostly) good communication, heartwarming moments and a fluttery feeling throughout the book, I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. This definitely is a must-read for romance fans.
