A short novel about belonging and ones (chosen) purpose in life. Yeva never really felt like she belonged with the guildknights, always in armour, always hidden. When she's send away on a mission within the neighbouring kingdom she felt out of place once again. She's forced to show more of herself than she has half her life. But she also finds a place she begins to feel like she belongs. Especially thanks to the girl-king Lady Shanhook. What will win, duty of Yeva's heart? -

Like a sapphic fairytail
Despite only being a short novella, this story is beautifully written. The love story is simple and sweet and made me want to read more about the characters and their world. It's a quick read with many small but beautiful elements. -

Absolutely gorgeous
Perfect for fans of sapphic knights and beautiful dragons! This book was such a fun and well thought out little story. I wish there was a whole series about Yeva and Lady Sookhee, I couldn't get enough of them!
