Halp!
I love this book so much! Evie is such a delightful character and her humor hits with me every single time! But there is actually not one single character I dont like, whats pretty rare - especially for me. Of course we have a grumpy x sunshie series and the blueprint of a slow burn at hand, but thats the fun, right? -

Cute, wholesome and funny!
This book is just perfection! The main character, Evie, is a brave, clumsy and loveable character who just gets under the villains skin and not in the way that he is used to with his enemies. He offers Evie a job that she can not refuse. Who else is going to earn her family's living? Even though the villain tries so hard for Evie to quit, she just won't let herself be defeated and she treats his mean comments with humor. You soon realize that the villain wants to get rid of Evie because of a far deeper and more dangerous feeling than hate... Not only does her life change because of her new boss but because of the secrets that cursed her family... -

Assistant to the Villain
This took me a while to get through because I wanted to enjoy it as much as I could! It was so much fun—full of banter and laughter! Working for the villain of the story sounds like a bad idea, right? But, well, it pays really well, and the boss (the villain) is really, really hot, so how could Evie decline his offer to work as his assistant? Guys, the tension was real in this one, and I loved it so much that I had to immediately start with book 2 in this trilogy. -

Office Romantasy in a cheerful way
What a funny and delightful book! I totally loved this one, especially the suuuper slowburn romance and the vibe between Evie and The Villain. Sometimes I almost freaked out because there was so much tension but then they got distracted. The story is really good but a some parts slow-moving. A little bit of magic was also present but in a slight amount, more like an urban-fantasy. If you love romcoms and a different setting, this book is for you! I enjoyed the office setting more than I expected and some lines made me smile in pure joy. And the plottwist and ending?! Excuse me I need part two right now. Big recommendation! -

This book was fantastic! The romance was awesome, I giggled so much, also you have the POV from the male lead. There is a lot of good humour but also the plot was really interesting. This book is just an easy and awesome read!!!
