Hier wird ein Lehrbuch der Systematischen Theologie, speziell für Religionslehrkräfte und entsprechende Studiengänge vorgelegt. Es orientiert sich nicht am klassischen Schema der Dogmatik, sondern an Bildungsplanthemen, Schülerfragen und Interessenbekundungen aktiver Lehrkräfte, die aus Interviews gewonnen wurden.

In neun Kapiteln geht es unter anderem um die Frage nach Gottes Gegenwart, um Israel und Christus, um eine für die Gegenwart verständliche Übersetzung der Themen von Gnade und Rechtfertigung, um die zu oft abgeblendete Wunderfrage und die nach Gott und dem Leid. Klassische Themen wie die Frage nach dem Schöpfer und die Gotteslehre fehlen nicht, werden aber den Interessenbekundungen folgend neu aufgerollt. Der Stoff wird mit Tabellen und Graphiken sowie einer Synopse zum klassischen Schema veranschaulicht.

[Systematic Theology for Teachers]

A textbook on systematic theology for religious education teachers and students. It is not based on the classic dogmatic scheme, but on educational topics, questions from pupils and expressions of interest from active teachers, which were gathered from interviews. Nine chapters deal with topics such as the question of God’s presence, Israel and Christ, a translation of the themes of grace/justification that is understandable today, the question of miracles, which is too often glossed over, and the question of God and suffering. Classical themes such as Creator/creation and the doctrine of God are not missing, but are revisited in line with the interests expressed. The presentation is illustrated with tables and graphs as well as a synopsis of the classic dogmatic scheme.
