The invisible life of Addie LaRue might be one of the most beautyful books I´ve ever read. V.E. Schwab tells the story of a young woman who, in pursuit of freedom, takes a deal with the devil, one that will make everyone forget her in exchange for immortality. Addie experiences historical events the birth of art forms and the ability to go and do as she likes. But for how long can one go without meaningful human connections? The lovestory between Addie and Henry is told so beautifully, it´d be kitsch if it wasn´t so good. This book´s left me teary eyed and in desperate need for more stories like Addies. A remarkable novel.
