Meine letzte Rezension Project Hail Mary (Movie Tie-In) von Andy Weir
Dr. Ryland Grace wakes up in space. Confused. Without Memories. His crewmates are dead. And while he's on the journey to save his sun from dying he meets Rocky. A spider like - alien made out of rock with the same issue, send to save their dying star. We jump between his time on the hail mary and how he even got there in the first time. Then what does a teacher do in space? I absolutely loved the dynamic between Grace and Rocky, how they build a way to communicate, how their friendship slowly builds and what their willing to sacrafice to save each other. After watching the movie about 3 times I just had to read the book and was not disappointed.

Gothinkana is set in an academic environment, one that draws you in and makes you want to be a part of the story. A forbidden professor-student relationship combined with a found family dynamic kept me hooked from start to finish. Patiently waiting for book two...

    Phantom Busters 1

    Vier Jugendliche, drei von ihnen haben die Möglichkeit, auf unterschiedliche Art und Weise mit Geistern zu interagieren. Mogari Shishikuno, der damit aufgewachsen ist, Geister zu exorzieren, indem er sie frisst. Kotaro Tamon, der Geister zwar nicht sehen, aber hören und mit ihnen reden kann. Kouru Kanzaki, der Geister sehen kann, und Eugene Korekishi, dieser hat jedoch keine Fähigkeiten. Zu viert gründen sie die Phantom Busters AG, um sich auf die Suche nach Geistern zu machen. Der Manga ist voller Action und humorvoll geschrieben. Der Zeichenstil ist wirklich gut gelungen und vor allem die Kampfszenen und Geister lassen den Leser in die Geschichte eintauchen. Auch wenn mich zwei der Charaktere an bereits existierende Figuren aus einem anderen Manga erinnern, hat mich dieser vollends überzeugt. Ich hab das Ganze in 1 1/2 Stunden durchgelesen und kann es kaum erwarten, dass der nächste Band herauskommt.
