Meine letzte Rezension A Stepmother's Märchen Vol. 1 von Spice&kitty
Shuri Von Neuschwanstein dies on the wedding day of her stepson, but instead of it being the end she wakes up again, seven years ago on the day of her husband’s funeral. Determined not to repeat her life as it was before, shunned by other nobles as well as her stepchildren, she vows to change it for the better... Shuri’s story is told with stunning imagery reminding me of a fairytale. It was in fact the first thing that drew me to the story and the exceptional quality kept me eagerly following this series. Shuri herself is such a good and strong character the way she steadfastly puts herself on the line for her family, even though they aren’t even bound by blood. The way she and the Neuschwanstein children grow closer is so heartwarming (and funny) it’s such a delight to read. “A Stepmother’s Märchen” features a variety of different topics throughout its story: family bonds, political intrigue, religion as well as some light romance. All in a well-rounded package, great recommendation!
