A Good Girl's Guide to Murder. TV Tie-In

Thanks for reminding me how much i adore a good murder mystery sleuth story. this had everything i could wish for, loved the writing style, the attention to detail and sprinkles of joy. "He'd told her before that he did it to take away half her sadness, half her headache, half her nerves (...). Because half of a bad thing meant there was room for half good." - a few of my favourite lines.

Being a Holly Jackson fan, I finally HAD to read her most popular book series! Jackson is a master in leading us on wrong paths. We as the reader puzzle along with Pippa and Ravi, who are very funny protagonists. I LOVED their relationship dynamic. I didn't expect the final reveal and found it shocking! A fun read for all thriller fans aged 14 and above.

„A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder“ ist ein richtig spannender Jugendkrimi. Die Schülerin Pip untersucht für ein Schulprojekt einen alten Mordfall aus ihrer Stadt und merkt schnell, dass vieles an der offiziellen Geschichte nicht stimmt. Je mehr sie herausfindet, desto gefährlicher wird es. Das Buch ist super fesselnd, voller Geheimnisse und Wendungen, sodass man unbedingt weiterlesen will. Perfekt für alle Jugendlichen, die spannende Krimis und Rätsel mögen.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is a YA mystery that’s part true-crime podcast vibe, part high school drama. It follows Pippa Fitz-Amobi, a driven student who decides to investigate a supposedly closed murder case in her town for her senior project. As she digs deeper, secrets start to unravel, and the perfect image of her community begins to crack. The mystery itself is brilliantly paced—full of twists, red herrings, and reveals that feel shocking but earned. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, Jackson pulls the rug out from under you. The final resolution is both satisfying and chilling, sticking with you long after the last page. Pip is also a standout protagonist. She’s smart, curious, and relentless, but she’s not perfect—her flaws and risks make her feel real. I found her relationship with Ravi super cute and I felt it also balanced the darker elements of the story.

I have no words to express how good this book was. It captivated me so much that the book was practically glued to me. The characters were so well developed and simply lovable. The plot was perfect and I also found the way Holly Jackson structured the book very interesting. Throughout, there were pages showing Pip’s progress in the investigation or interviews with the people involved. Very excited for the rest of the series.
