Meine letzte Rezension Full Speed to a Crash Landing (Deutsche Ausgabe) von Beth Revis
Die Autorin schreibt viele Star Wars Romane und das merkt man in jeder Faser dieses Buches. Dazu kommt eine gesunde Portion von Mission Impossible dazu, die aus dem ganzen ein Sci-Fi Abenteuer macht, bei dem man nie weiß, was genau Ada eigentlich vor hat. Immer wieder wird man überrascht und man fragt sich "Gehört das zu ihrem Plan?". Ein nettes Sci-Fi Buch für Zwischendurch. Und können wir kurz darüber reden, wie schön dieses Cover ist?!

Die Autorin schreibt viele Star Wars Romane und das merkt man in jeder Faser dieses Buches.     If We Were Villains. Illustrated Edition

    This is my favourite book! I love the dark academia aesthetic and M.L Rio is a natural talent at creating the perfect atmosphere. The foreshadowing was just right and the dynamic between James and Oliver had me kicking my feet in the air. It was perfect.

    Under the Whispering Door

    In my opinion even better than 'The House in the Cerulean Sea' which was another 5 star read for me! I fell like TJ Klune books are either hit or miss for most poeple but this definitely hit!! TJ Klune writes characters and stories like no one else does. This book stuck with me long after I've finished it - and I can't wait to re-read it!

    Loveless

    Georgia is 18, has never kissed anyone and has never had a crush on anyone, while her friends are falling in love. Relatable so far? Good, because this book really touched my heart. It made me feel happy and seen. Whether you're asexual/aromantic or not, this book highlights the importance of friendship and platonic love, which is just as valid and important as romantic love. What I liked most in this were the characters and their development, especially Georgia, who got out of her comfort zone despite her anxiety - and now look at her thriving! Rooney was the most intreresting of them all. Upon meeting her for the first time she seemed confident and happy all the time, but that's far from the truth. I loved the scenes where she opened up to Georgia, but when she then fell back into old habits, Georgia was there for her. The bond they had was so well written. This books is everything. It's just great. I should have read it sooner but it's definitely one of my favourite books now.

    Himmel ohne Ende

    Entweder verstehe ich Charlie einfach sehr gut - oder versteht Charlie mich? Jedenfalls hat mich dieses Buch sehr berührt, sogar zu Tränen gerührt. So viele Dinge, die Charlie sagt und denkt, habe ich auch mit 15 gedacht und denke sie teilweise immer noch. Ich habe mich so verstanden gefühlt, und auch, wenn vieles mit 15 aussieht wie der Weltuntergang, wird es wieder besser und genau diese Comfort Message des Buchs tat so gut! Ein klares Jahres Highlight für mich!!!

    The House in the Cerulean Sea

    If you're looking for the equivalent of a warm hug or a cosy blanket: this is the book for you. It was heartwarming, cute and tooth-rottingly sweet. This made me a fan of found-family and queer fantasy!

    Der Astronaut – Project Hail Mary

    Ich hätte früher auf meine Schwester hören sollen, die mir erzählt hat, wie gut die Bücher von Andy Weir sind. Und nachdem ich mit ihr im Kino war musste ich dieses Buch lesen und es war noch besser als erwartet! An alle, die den Film gesehen und geliebt haben: lest dieses Buch!!! Man erfährt in den Erinnerungen von Grace noch so viel mehr darüber, was vor dem Start der Hail Mary auf der Erde passiert. Neues Lieblingsbuch!

    The Hound of the Baskervilles

    This is by far my favourite Sherlock Holmes story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This narration was especially interesting because the first half of the story is centered around Watson and his own investigations, written as letters to Holmes. The atmosphere is dark and creepy and I loved every second of it! My dear Holmes and my dear Watson are the best duo!

    The Secret History

    As a reader who is very into dark academia I just had to read this one AND I LOVED IT. Spoilers ahead but not really because it's on the very first page: Going in I thought the book was about Bunny's death and why it happened and yes, that was what the first half of the book was about. I was surprised that I still had half the book left. The second part is about how it changed their lives and that's where things went wild. I liked the first half more than the second but that's just personal preference (i.e. excessive alcohol and drug use) but it was interesting and captivating nonetheless. Comparing a masterpiece to another masterpiece is hard but I dare say that I liked If We Were Villains slightly better but I strongly advice you to just read both books :)

    Willkommen bei den Grauses 1: Wer ist schon normal?

    Ottilie bekommt neue Nachbarn, aber die sind irgendwie... originell?? Eine Familie voller magischer Andersartigen, die sich in die Menschenwelt integrieren will. Doch das ist gar nicht so leicht, wenn man anders ist und die Menschen voller Vorurteile sind. ,,Willkommen bei den Grauses" ist ein wundervolles Kinderbuch über eine wunderbare, skurille und lustige Familie!

    NEMESIS' TÖCHTER

    Ein großes WOW für Königin Tara und dieses Buch! Ich habe mir so viele Stellen und Zitate markiert, eigentlich müsste ich das ganze Buch highlighten, denn das ist es. Ein Highlight! Die geschichtlichen und mythologischen Abhandlungen fand ich besonders interessant und konnte tatsächlich noch einiges an Wissen mitnehmen. Dieses Buch ist so vieles: lehrreich, witzig, informativ, aufwühlend und auch motivierend. Es ist keine Buch gegen Männer, was Tara auch immer wieder betont. Das ist ein Buch gegen das Patriarchat. Systemkritik immer über Individualkritik! An so vielen Stellen hat Tara mir aus der Seele gesprochen. Nemesis Töchter kriegt definitv einen Ehrenplatz im Regal. Viel mehr kann ich eigentlich gar nicht sagen außer LEST ALLE DIESES BUCH
