There are moments that are deeply heartbreaking, but the novel never loses its ability to draw you in. It’s an interesting exploration of friendship, compassion, and the complexity of human emotions. The ending, though satisfying, left me with lingering questions and a sense of unfinished business, which is both frustrating and intriguing. It’s the kind of book that sparks discussions, making it perfect for sharing with friends and testing your own perspectives on emotions and relationships.   In ,,Eine Hand voller Sterne" begegnen wir einem Jungen, der trotz großer Herausforderungen und inmitten politischer Unterdrückung an seine Träume glaubt. Es sind die kleinen Gesten, die stillen Akte des Muts und die echte Freundschaft, die hier so stark wirken. Das Buch erinnert einen daran, wie stark der Zusammenhalt und der Glaube an das Gute ist und wichtig es ist, seine Stimme nicht zu verlieren, auch wenn man Angst hat. Ich denke, gerade junge Leserinnen und Leser können daraus viel Kraft, Hoffnung und Inspiration schöpfen. Auf jeden Fall ein stilles und starkes Buch - und ein wertvoller Begleiter für jung und alt. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich der klare, einfühlsame Schreibstil, der die Emotionen wirklich direkt ins Herz trägt. Gerade in der heutigen Zeit macht dieses Buch mit seiner wichtigen Botschaft Mut und regt zum Nachdenken. (: و لا تتوقف عن الحلم

  In ,,Sprache und Sein" entfaltet die Autorin Kübra Gümüşay auf eindrucksvolle Weise die tiefere Bedeutung von Sprache als Schlüssel zu unserer Identität und wie stark sie unser Denken prägt. Sie spricht von der Kraft der Mehrsprachigkeit und wie Sprache nicht nur Kommunikation, sondern auch ein Fenster zu unserer Geschichte ist. Sprache dient nicht nur als Werkzeug, sondern hilft uns auch dabei , uns in der Welt zurechtzufinden – und gleichzeitig manchmal die Grenzen aufzeigt, mit denen wir uns konfrontiert sehen. Besonders berührend ist, wie sie ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen mit Türkisch, Englisch und Deutsch schildert und die unterschiedliche Bedeutung jeder Sprache in ihrem Leben einfängt. Ich habe mich in ihren Struggles und vielen ihrer Lebenssituationen sehr oft wiedererkannt. Es ist schön, relaten zu können – auch wenn man selbst andere Sprachen spricht oder verschiedene Sprachwelten erlebt hat. Für mich auch noch wichtig zu erwähnen ist, dass auch bis heute Sprache bzw. das Niveau, in dem man sie spricht, leider immer noch mit rassistischen Erfahrungen verbunden ist. Viel zu oft wird das „Nicht-gut-genug“-Sprechen einer Sprache mehr hervorgehoben als die Tatsache, dass jemand eine Sprache überhaupt erst neu gelernt hat – mit all den Herausforderungen und der Kultur, die damit einhergehen. Dabei ist es doch eine so große Bereicherung, nicht nur für einen selbst, sondern auch für unsere Gesellschaft, wenn Menschen sprachliche und kulturelle Vielfalt leben. Kübra Gümüşays Erzählweise zu der Thematik ist sowohl emotional als auch reflektiert, was das Buch zu einer wertvollen Lektüre für alle macht und definitiv zum Nachdenken anregt.

  „Gute Nachrichten aus aller Welt“ ist für mich viel mehr als ein Kindersachbuch – es ist eine liebevoll gestaltete Einladung, die Welt mit neugierigen Augen zu entdecken. Und vor allem: mit offenem Herzen. In einer Welt, in der viele Länder hier oft nur in negativen Schlagzeilen auftauchen, zeigt dieses Buch: Überall auf der Welt passieren großartige Dinge. Von Somalia, über Syrien und China, bis nach Mexiko – hier lernt man spannende, überraschende Fakten, die so in keinem Schulbuch stehen. Was mich besonders begeistert hat, ist zum einen die klare Botschaft gegen Vorurteile und Rassismus: Kinder (und auch Erwachsenen!) bekommen auf ganz natürliche Weise vermittelt, dass jede Kultur etwas Besonderes und auf ihre eigene Art einzigartig ist – und wie wichtig es ist, neugierig zu sein. Die interaktiven Fragen und Mitmach-Ideen sind dazu auch sehr schön umgesetzt, um ins Gespräch zu kommen oder auch mal um Denkanstöße mitzunehmen. Und mein persönliches Highlight: Die Illustrationen! So warm, detailreich und harmonisch. Ich liebe den Stil sehr und man merkt direkt, mit wie viel Liebe die Illustrationen gezeichnet wurden. Egal ob zum Vorlesen, gemeinsamen Lesen oder einfach als Buch für zwischendurch: Ich kann „Gute Nachrichten aus aller Welt“ wirklich für jedes Bücherregal empfehlen – für Kinder, für Erwachsene und für alle. In diesen Zeiten, umso wichtiger denn je - gegen Hass und Vorurteile mit Wissen, Neugier und positiven Sichtweise zur Vielfalt entgegenzukommen.

  Atomic Habits

  "Atomic Habits" is a self-help book that I really enjoyed because it feels like a good friend giving advice, supported by understandable, personal examples. I switched between reading the book and listening to it as an audiobook, which was ideal for me, especially with this book. In theory it could be a quick read but I'm sure it's one of those you will return to again and again at different stages of your life - or I least I'd recommend it :)

  "Convenience Store Woman" is both bizarre and brilliant, leaving me with mixed emotions long after finishing it. Keiko Furukura has worked in the same store for eighteen years and is content with her life, but society condemns her because she is unmarried and has a low-income job. In a world that demands a sense of submission, Keiko's life is kind of an act of quiet rebellion (even if she perhaps did not do it consciously). Murata's sharp humor and incisive commentary on societal norms offer a quirky but unsettling exploration of identity, belonging and the pressure to fit in. It's a strange, thought-provoking read that questions the roles we are expected to play while leaving a lasting impression of how we view personal fulfillment and societal expectations.
