Meine letzte Rezension The Night We Met von Abby Jimenez

I especially loved that it wasn’t just a typical romance novel. It also explored deeper themes like grief and addiction, and how we sometimes feel responsible for the actions of our parents or friends. It showed how scary it can be to think we might turn out like our parents. This book was beautifully written, and I enjoyed every moment of it. Abby Jimenez definitely didn’t disappoint! I also read the first book, Say You Remember Me, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as this one. That being said, you can absolutely read this book as a standalone you don’t need to read the first one to understand what’s going on. Some characters from the first book are mentioned and appear occasionally, but they’re not essential to the story. This book gave me such a warm, comforting feeling like being wrapped in a blanket. I felt completely immersed in it and ended up finishing it in just two days because I couldn’t put it down. I was honestly a bit addicted to it. It was exactly what I needed at that moment. It’s a quick, perfect read to get you out of a reading slump just a fun, enjoyable book you can pick up anytime, and one I definitely think is worth reading.

Caraval von Stephanie Garber ist ein absolut verzauberndes Buch, das mich von der ersten bis zur letzten Seite in seinen Bann gezogen hat. Die Geschichte rund um Scarlett und ihre Schwester Donatella entführt den Leser in eine geheimnisvolle Welt voller Illusionen, Rätsel und unerwarteter Wendungen. Der Schreibstil ist wunderschön bildhaft und lässt die magische Atmosphäre von Caraval lebendig werden. Man weiß nie, was real ist und was nur Teil des Spiels – genau das macht die Spannung so einzigartig. Besonders beeindruckend fand ich die Charaktere, die viel Tiefe besitzen und sich im Laufe der Geschichte glaubwürdig weiterentwickeln. Die Handlung ist durchgehend spannend, emotional und überraschend, sodass man das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen kann. Caraval ist perfekt für alle, die Magie, Geheimnisse und eine Prise Romantik lieben. Ein unvergessliches Leseerlebnis und ein absolut verdienter Fünf-Sterne-Roman! ✨

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder

In A good Girls guide to Murder begleiten wir Pip die für ein Schulprojekt beschließt einen Mord aufzuklären der in ihrer kleinstadt passierte. Die Geschichte ist spannend aufgebaut und wird durch Tagebucheinträge und interviews abwechslungsreich erzählt. Für mich geht es in diesem Buch um mehr als nur einen spannenden Kriminalfall. Neben dem Krimi stehen auch Freundschaft, Mut und Selbstfindung im Mittelpunkt. Pip macht im Laufe der Geschichte eine starke Entwicklung durch und muss sich vielen Herausforderungen stellen, die sie prägen und verändern. Gerade diese persönliche Reise macht die Geschichte so besonders. Es ist eine spannende, aber gleichzeitig auch schöne und emotionale Geschichte, die zum Nachdenken anregt und lange im Kopf bleibt.

Verliebt in deine schönsten Seiten

In „verliebt in deine schönsten seiten” begleiten wir January, die als Autorin arbeitet und nach dem Tod ihres Vaters einen Sommer im Strandhaus verbringt. Mir hat das Buch besonders gefallen, weil es viel mehr ist als nur eine Liebesgeschichte. Ich habe mit ihr gelacht, ihre Zweifel gespürt und die leisen, nachdenklichen Momente wirklich mitgefühlt. Als sie auf ihren ehemaligen Rivalen trifft, entwickelt sich zwischen Schreibblockaden, Genre-Tausch und kleinen gemeinsamen Abenteuern langsam etwas Schönes. Neben der Romance geht es auch um Trauer, Familie und darum, sich selbst wiederzufinden – und genau das hat mich tief berührt.

The Assassin's Blade

I loved this book with my whole heart. Honestly, I have no idea why I waited so long to dive into this series, especially since this book was such a breathtaking experience. This book gave me that exact, rare feeling I am always looking for as a reader. It was so addictive that I simply couldn’t put it down. Even though it is structured as a collection of novellas, the flow was seamless and incredibly easy to follow. I now completely understand why so many fans recommend starting the series here it builds such a necessary emotional foundation. The prose is absolutely wonderful. There is a lyrical quality to the writing that made the world and the setting feel vivid and beautiful. But more than that, it was the emotional impact that caught me off guard. This book made me cry! Celaena Sardothien is a phenomenal protagonist strong, complex, and deeply human. Watching her journey through these parts made me feel so connected to her. The character development is top tier, and I am already so invested in her story. I am beyond excited to continue with the rest of the series. If the first book is already this powerful, I can’t imagine what’s next!
