""The Indian Drum"" is a novel written by Mac Harg and William. The book tells the story of a young boy named Tim who lives in a small town in the mid-western United States. Tim is fascinated by the stories his grandfather tells him about his adventures as a soldier in the Indian Wars. One day, Tim discovers an old Indian drum in his grandfather's attic and becomes obsessed with learning how to play it.As Tim learns to play the drum, he begins to have vivid dreams about the Indian Wars and the battles his grandfather fought in. He also discovers that the drum has a mysterious power that allows him to communicate with the spirits of the Native American warriors who once owned it.As Tim's obsession with the drum grows, he becomes increasingly isolated from his friends and family. His grandfather, who initially encouraged Tim's interest in the drum, becomes worried about the hold it has over him. Meanwhile, a group of local bullies begins to torment Tim, making his life even more difficult. In the end, Tim must confront the bullies and his own obsession with the drum. With the help of his grandfather and the spirits of the Native American warriors, Tim learns to face his fears and find his place in the world. ""The Indian Drum"" is a powerful and moving novel about the importance of family, tradition, and finding one's own path in life. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
