""An Essay On The Origin And Purity Of The Primitive Church Of The British Isles, And Its Independence Upon The Church Of Rome"" is a historical and religious text written by William Hales. The book explores the origins and evolution of the early Christian church in the British Isles, and argues for its independence from the Roman Catholic Church. Hales examines the history of Christianity in Britain, from the arrival of the first Christian missionaries to the establishment of the Roman Catholic Church in the country. He argues that the early church in Britain was independent and distinct from the Roman church, and that it maintained its own traditions and practices. Hales also discusses the purity and authenticity of the early church in Britain, and how it was able to survive and thrive despite persecution and outside influence. Overall, ""An Essay On The Origin And Purity Of The Primitive Church Of The British Isles, And Its Independence Upon The Church Of Rome"" is a fascinating exploration of the history of Christianity in Britain, and a compelling argument for the independence and uniqueness of the early British church. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
