The Life and Labors of John Wray is a biographical account of the pioneering missionary John Wray, who dedicated his life to spreading Christianity in British Guiana during the late 19th century. Written by Wray himself, the book details his early life, his conversion to Christianity, and his decision to become a missionary. It also provides a vivid description of his experiences in British Guiana, including his interactions with the indigenous people, the challenges he faced in establishing a mission, and the successes he achieved in converting many to Christianity. The book also includes accounts of Wray's personal life, including his marriage and family, as well as his travels throughout the region. Overall, The Life and Labors of John Wray is a fascinating historical document that provides valuable insight into the life and work of a pioneering missionary who made a significant impact on the people and culture of British Guiana. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
