Depression, Anxiety, medication...mental illness. Still a topic whi is hushed up a lot. And she does it with humor, and lightness but also does`nt hide the dark side. She explains mental illness in a way for someone not affected by it understands it as much as they can. Great metaphors, great and funny but also vulnerable storys describing her way and life accompanied with mental illness. I loved it so much i am going to read her first book too! What a talented, brave and funny woman!

Funny, unapologetic and with a twisted and dark sense of humor the author tells about her own personal struggle with anxiety and depression. She finds the perfect balance between hilarious anecdotes and really touching topics and overall it’s the perfect book for almost anybody who struggles with mental health issues, their relatives who want to understand those better and just all people who are interested in such topics.

This was such a laugh out loud book. I remember sitting at the doctor's office and laughing inexhaustibly. Even if some topics are rather macabre, Jenny Lawson simply knows how to turn the mood around.
