Before They Are Hanged Book Two

If you enjoyed The Blade Itself, you'll love this book. If you found the plot in The Blade Itself a bit slow, this book is where it all picks up, the story being much more dynamic and things start happening left right and centre. The character work is as strong as ever, as we see our "heroes" facing new challenges and revealing more about their dark nature. If, finally, The Blade Itself was too dark and nasty for you, then maybe this isn't the right series for your taste, as the tone certainly doesn't get any brighter. Overall a great improvement on an alreyvery strong start to the series and sets up the last book of the trilogy very nicely.

The Action continues and picks up some pace! The Main Charakters evolve further. Many unpleasant things happen in the Circle of the World, Overall Situation seems worse... Bad for the citizen of the Union - but pretty damn entertaining for us readers.
