Useless Magic Lyrics and Poetry

I loved this so much! While a lot of this book is Songs I know by heart, something about reading them in a book hit different. Not harder necessarily, just different. It also felt like a trip down memory lane. I started listening to Florence + the Machine when How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful came out, and there's certain songs I haven’t really listened to in years, where reading the lyrics just really brought me back to where and who I was the first time I heard them. And then there was the poetry section. She said it in the introduction, but the difference between Florence Welch's voice in songs vs. in poetry really stood out to me. There’s several poems here that I know I'll come back to, because they moved me so much. Like I said, I loved this!
