Ein grandioser Fiebertraum
Hi, Bunny! Ich weiß eigentlich gar nicht, wo ich anfangen soll, denn dieses Buch ist DEEP für mich! Oberflächlich gesehen könnte man meinen, es geht um Cliquen/Freundschaften, Zugehörigkeit und der Suche nach seinem Platz unter Frauen, aber tiefer betrachtet gibt es einfach soooo viel mehr. Ich habe mir anschließend wirklich EINIGE Analysen zu Bunny durchgelesen, nachts gegrübelt und all in all einfach gestaunt, wie man sich so etwas ausdenken kann. Es gibt wiederkehrende Themen und Metaphern, man weiß nicht, was man wörtlich nehmen soll und was nicht. Was ist echt, was ist Fantasie? Brutal, weird, emotional, fantastisch und auch etwas traurig. Ist ganz sicher nicht für jede*n etwas, aber wenn man weird stuff mag, ist es ein Meisterwerk aus meiner Sicht! -

Twisty, mindbending madness
Bunny is one of those books you have absolutely no idea what you are getting yourself into by reading it. Let me tell you this; If you like Mean Girls, Heathers, Clueless and a tinge of gory madness, this book will definetly hit the spot for you. An unhinged commentary on elitism, female friendship and the bottomless pit of darkness inside the human mind. A must read for spooky season! -

Bunny, this book is so amazing! You did so wonderfully, bunny!
I have to agree to the other reviews: reading this felt like a feaver dream. I couldn't put this book down because it was just so funny, weird, insane and intense. You never really knew what was real and what wasn't and that made the ending so much more surprising. The way the Bunnies were portrayed and Samantha's time with them was magnificent. I loved every single thing about it and am looking forward to reading more books by Mona Awad. -

Now I would join a cult with no questions asked
This was the weirdest book I've read in my life and I don't know if I loved it or hated it but it was amazing and broke my brain. For me it is a blend of two masterpieces: "Mean Girls" and "Alice in Wonderland" and it's perfect. That's why I love weird fiction.. It does something to your mind and you can't explain it, because it's so convoluted.. -

This Book is a Fever Dream
I lack the words to describe how unsettling and brilliant this book was! The vibe is Mean Girls meets horror fiction and it made perfect sense to combine these two. I definitely have to read some theories about the ending, as the plot got so surreal at the end, but in the best way possible!
