This wonderfully dark collection of short stories gets 4.6 stars from me. I only recently realized that the Gothic/Magical Realism genre is my jam and this book only confirmed it. I enjoyed it more than anticipated, the stories that'll haunt me are not even part of the blurb. There is just this constant captivating darkness in every story, twists lurking everywhere. I enjoyed about 90% of the wildly different ideas, but the abandoned theme park one and the last one really screwed with my head. F-ing well done, absolutely brutal. I will pick up more of Kirsty Logan's work. Definitely worth the read.
