The Two Covenants: And The Second Blessing is a Christian book written by Andrew Murray in 1899. The book explores the two covenants mentioned in the Bible, the Old Covenant and the New Covenant. Murray delves into the differences between the two covenants and how they relate to the concept of salvation. He argues that the Old Covenant was a temporary arrangement that was replaced by the New Covenant, which is based on faith in Jesus Christ. Murray also discusses the concept of the second blessing, which refers to a deeper level of spiritual experience that some Christians seek. He argues that this second blessing is attainable through a deeper understanding of the New Covenant and the work of the Holy Spirit. Throughout the book, Murray uses biblical references and personal anecdotes to support his arguments. He encourages readers to seek a deeper relationship with God and to embrace the blessings that come with the New Covenant. Overall, The Two Covenants: And The Second Blessing is a thought-provoking book that explores important theological concepts in an accessible and engaging way. It is a valuable resource for Christians who are seeking a deeper understanding of their faith. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
