Don't open the door for Elyse Woodley!
Da hat sie mich wieder einmal erwischt, meine alte Bekannte, die Erwartungshaltung! Ich war auf einen rasanten Thriller eingestellt - das ist dieses Buch aber definitiv nicht. Es plätschert eine Weile ziemlich unaufgeregt dahin. Nachdem ich mich aber damit abgefunden habe, dass es nicht sofort an Schwung aufnimmt, fand ich es mit einem Male ziemlich gut. Fielding schreibt mit leichter Hand. Ihre Bücher lesen sich flüssig. Das Thema der häuslichen Pflege könnte uns alle betreffen und daher ein sehr realistisches Szenario. Kurzgesagt, ein Buch, das ich lesenswert fand. Wer allerdings einen temporeichen Thriller erwartet, wird vermutlich enttäuscht werden.
