From Lukov with Love

As a fan of figure skating this has been on my tbr for a really long time and I never really picked it up, because I was scared the romance was going to be the main focus after a while and I am actually a little tired of sport romances like these. But after I read the first pages I already knew I was going to love this book and I wasn't wrong about that. I fell in love with Jasmine and Ivan and their banter and I flew through the pages after I was hooked on the story. You feel how important skating is for both of them, how much they sacrifice for it, how much they love it and what they are willing to do for it. And I loved the relationship between these two so much, because they had a deep understanding for each other, which was so incredibly well made! Also I felt Jasmine very very relatable, which made her an amazing character for me. I gave this 5 stars without even thinking about it, because it definitely deserves it! This was my first book from Mariana Zapata, but most definitely not the last!

This contemporary romance novel left me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. The story follows Jasmine, a figure skater who is struggling to make ends meet and desperately needs a partner to compete with. Enter Ivan, a talented skater who Jasmine has a complicated history with. What I loved most about this book was the slow-burn romance between Jasmine and Ivan. Their banter and tension were so well-written and had me rooting for them throughout the entire book. The dual perspective of the main characters was seamless and allowed for a deeper understanding of their thoughts and feelings.

Nach "The Wall Of Winnipeg and Me“ musste ich einfach noch weitere Bücher von Mariana Zapata lesen. From Lukov with Love war genau das, was ich mir erhofft hatte. Mariana Zapatas Schreibstil ist angenehm und die Menge an Humor perfekt. Der "Enemies to lovers“ Aspekt wurde meiner Meinung nach perfekt, wenn auch langsam, umgesetzt. Wer kein Slowburn mag, ist hier wohl eher falsch. Aber für Slowburn ist Mariana Zapata ja bekannt. Klare Kaufempfehlung für Slowburn/Enemies to Lovers/FigureSkating Romance fans!

Absolute Leseempfehlung für jeden der gerne Enemies to Lovers Bücher liest. Die Charaktere sind mir ans Herz gewachsen und ich wünschte ich könnte mehr von ihnen lesen

Jasmine & Ivan bereit für eine süße Enemies to Lovers Geschichte? Jasmine ist eine begnadete Eiskunstläuferin, doch seit Jahren hat sie keine Meisterschaft gewonnen. Ausgerechnet Ivan Lukov, der jede Meisterschaft gewinnt, macht ihr Konkurrenz. Bis zu dem Tag, an dem Jasmine das Angebot bekommt seine neue Partnerin zu werden. Doch kann Jasmine über ihren Schatten und über ihr Ego springen? Jasmine und Ivans Geschichte ist zucker süß. Es ist eine slow Romance Geschichte und beide Protagonisten ärgern sich über das ganze Buch hinweg. Doch trotzdem arbeiten sie als Team zusammen und nach und nach kommen sie sich auch näher. Doch wer hätte gedacht, dass Ivan schon die ganze Zeit heimlich ein Auge auf Jasmine geworfen hat. Die Kosenamen „Fleischklops“ und „Satan“ unterstreichen hier nochmal die Bindung zueinander. Das Eiskunstlaufen wird hier auch super detailliert beschrieben, genau so wie die ganzen Emotionen von Jasmine. Sie ist so zielstrebig und lernt während der Geschichte an sich zu glauben! Ein super süßes Buch für zwischen durch und perfekt für die kalte Jahreszeit
