Having thoroughly enjoyed Tricia Levenseller's 'Daughter of the Pirate King' duology, my anticipation was high when I finally acquired 'Vengeance of the Pirate Queen' a sequel to the original story. Although this book didn't quite captivate me as intensely as the first two, I still found it to be an enjoyable read. The characters and storyline resonated with me, despite the narrative feeling a bit too brief for its intentions. If you approach it with moderate expectations, this book has the potential to immerse you and provide several satisfying hours of reading.
