Character growth the novel

One of the most immersive fantasy novel I've read in a while. The Art of Prophecy succesfully subverts the chosen one trope and makes it a story to be remembered. While I expected there to be more interactions between the main characters I was pleasantly suprised at the outstanding world building and character growth throughout the book. 10/10 would recommend anyone who enjoys Hight Fantasy and/or Asian Tales.

This book took me by surprise. I really enjoyed the material arts elements and most of the character dynamics. My only gripe is with the group of assassins introduced relativly at the end. For being so called master assassins, we really don't see any mastery of the skills they ought to have. And one of the characters of that group was way to arrogant for the incompetency shown on page.
