Out on a Limb A Novel

I know a lot of you hate the pregnancy trope but please give this one a chance because Hannah Bonam-Young simply does not disappoint! Win accidentally gets pregnant after having a one-night stand at her best friend's Halloween party. The father to be is Bo, a walking green flag, with whom she gets closer and closer with over the course of her pregnancy. If you want to read a fast-paced, sweet book that depicts healthy relationships, this is made for you! Hannah also simply gets how to seamlessly connect important issues of our society into a romance and discusses topics like postpartum depression and ableism. 

Okay so hear me out..I usually do not like the pregnancy trope.. but this book is so much more than that! I don't think I ever laughed as much as I did reading this book. Their banter is so funny and quick, I couldn't stop reading. Win and Bo's chemistry is next level romantic. The fact that both of them are trying to not make things more awkward than it already is.. ahh and talk about the communication between them!!! Well as you can tell I kinda loved this book! And I definitely need to check on my record collection. ;)

- accidental pregnancy after an one night stand - both have a limb difference - moving together "for the baby" - oh no now we are best friends and cannot live without eachother - feels like a gentle hug where you don't want to let go - a lil spicy - the t e n s i o n - honestly a perfect read - giggling material - same vibes as "Lizzy Blake's best Mistake" by Mazey Eddfings (also an amazing read) -> I'll read this one a thousand times and not get sick of it.

Honestly,, this book was pretty much perfect! The romance was sweet but realistic, boundaries were set and respected, the friendships shown were honest and lovely. It discussed so many very important issues like ableism or abortions or postpartum depression but weaved them seamlessly into the story. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is that I wish we would've gotten more time with Bo and Win without any looming pregnancy (especially since accidental pregnancy is one of my least favorite tropes but somehow i very much liked it here!!) >.< But I guess that's just what the book is about in the end and I enjoyed it a lot!!! Easy and fast to read, sweet characters with really funny banter, and especially Bo has my whole heart!!! 10/10 would fall in love with him

This sweet and diverse book surprised me. I enjoyed reading it a lot and would recomend it to anyone seeking a sweet and easy romance. Dont shy away from the pregancy trope.
