Elsie Silver has this incredible ability to heal all my “daddy issues” with her heartwarming single dad stories. Honestly, who needs therapy when you can have a guy like Weston Belmont as your hero? Wild Eyes is yet another beautiful and emotional story from Elsie, and it’s no surprise that I couldn’t put it down. Her writing is like a gentle hug for the soul. The small towns she creates are a cozy escape, her characters bring such a sense of peace, and her love stories fill me with pure joy, warmth, and a deep sense of hope. Wild Eyes took me through a whirlwind of emotions—from feeling heartbroken and furious on Skylar’s behalf to being filled with warmth, nostalgia, and affection as I saw her find her place in Weston’s family. This story was everything I needed and more.
