Never Lie

Never Lie by Freida McFadden was absolutely gripping! I finished it in just two days because I simply couldn’t put it down. The story kept me hooked from beginning to end, and the suspense never let up. The best part was how I constantly thought I had figured everything out. I was convinced I had put all the clues together and knew exactly what was going on—only for the story to take another unexpected turn. The ending completely surprised me and was nothing like I expected. If you enjoy fast-paced psychological thrillers with clever twists, I highly recommend this book!

Freida McFadden simply knows how to write gripping books. I couldn't put this book down, and I was SHOCKED by the twist. I thought I would be able to guess the twist this time, but once again, I failed miserably. For me, it's the best book I've read by her so far, and I can recommend it to every thriller fan.

Never Lie kept me guessing until the very last page. Just when I thought I had figured everything out, the story took another clever turn and sent me in a completely different direction. I came up with so many therories while reading but the ending still managed to surprise me. The writing style is fast-paced and easy to read, making it almost impossible to put the book down. I especially enjoyed the alternating timelines between the present and the past, wich build suspense perfectly and slowly revealed what had really happend.

Man, this book was really interesting and pulled me in. I couldn't put it down. You follow the mysterious story of Tricia and her man who are searching for a new house to buy and then get locked in because of a snowstorm. When she can't sleep at night, she sneaks around and finds tonnes of videotapes that belong to a psychiatrist who once lived there and then falls into a hole of many secrets until her own is revealed. I had so many theories while I read it, and then the real plot came, and I was flabbergasted. My theories were half true most of the time, though. It really was a good book.

''I believe that any human being is capable of terrible things if you push them hard enough.'' Great pacing and a good plot. It's the perfect book for someone who wants something quick and satisfying.
