Beautiful, romantic and haunting
The Corruption of Hollis Brown is different from any romance book you will ever read. It’s a ghost story, a love story, a story about the people in the kinds of places that America has forgotten about. It’s beautifully written with amazing characters and a romance that is unconventional, yet poignant. I was honestly surprised at how well it worked. K. Ancrum has the rare talent of writing books that are new and unique. They are haunting in a melancholy way that I can’t really describe, leaving you with this weird feeling of being haunted by a story that you can’t quite let go.
