God of Malice

The second Generation of the RinaVerse. I cannot describe how excited I was to finally start the Legacy of Gods series. I was beyond happy to see all the characters from the first generation, the ones I grew so attached to, now grown up and as parents! They have such a special place in my heart! But let’s focus on the book itself: God of Malice is about Glyndon King, daughter of Astrid and Levi, and Kilian Carson, son of Rina and Asher. The book starts with Glyndon taking a late-night walk, during which he meets Kilian for the first time. That first meeting is all it takes for him to get obsessed with her. God of Malice is one of my favorite books from the Legacy of Gods series. I just love everything about it so much! Rina Kent created an incredible story with plotwtists that had me gasping! I’ve read the entire first generation of the RinaVerse, but somehow, Rina still manages to come up with surprising plot twists. My roman empire of this book is definitely the heathen initiation. If you know, you know. It was so freaking good! Rina Kent just ate with this idea and left no crumbs. Kilian is a perfect antihero, and he absolutely became one of my favorite book-boyfriends. Bonus points because his favorite color is red, the same as mine, hehe. And let's talk about Asher for a second. The worst father award among all book characters goes to (dramatic drum roll..... ) Asher Carson ! I won't spoil anything but after what he did I seriously dislike him. He is the worst, and I won't forgive him. Ever. Asher Carson when I catch you... (≖_≖ ).......Anyways! To come to an end: I definitely recommend reading the first generation of the RinaVerse, or else it might be a bit hard to fully get immersed into the story, since a lot of characters get introduced that are familiar with people who read all the books. But it's absolutely worth it, trust me!•Enemies to lovers•forced Proximity•Antihero•

This is after Kiss the Villain the second book by Rina Kent I read and I liked it. Killian and Gareth were a bit too similar for me, but that is nothing I can really complain about. Glyndon was a super nice character with kind of dangerous life choices but who am I to judge her. I love the writing style; it is easy to read and addicting.

Glyndon King suffers from a loss and takes her time alone until she meets Killian Carson, at midnight as he takes photos of her. Being the youngest and only daughter of her family, Glyndon feels lost and out of place as her brothers are better than her.And the worst thing, Killian knows her.. Their families are rivals such as their unis are, however Killian has taken interest in Glyndon for no reason.. As Glyndon receives one invitation to the initiation ceremony, Killian realises something. Not really showing his emotions, Killian shows Glyndon many things that he has a connection to her. However Glyndon knows he can’t love her.. Given that Killian has a secret, it’s exciting at the end. Rina Kent is really an amazing author, touching your heart and make the characters come alive.

I heard so much good about Rina Kent and her books, so I picked this one up and honestly I regret finishing it. This was genuinly — bad. Killian basically forced Glyn and I dont vibe with that. I am not a dark romance genre hater, because I have a few which I enjoy myself, but when forcing someone gets romanticised — I am out.
