Hotter in the Hamptons

I usually don't even buy books when there's a influencer but the blurb of this one made me curious hehe. At first, I was a little irritated. It felt like every brand on this planet was mentioned in the first two chapters and I kept rolling my eyes but I get why the author did that. Lola is an influencer with over 5 million followers and all she does is post herself in some gifted clothing from all kinds of brands. So it makes sense for her to only see and mention them. Well, even though this whole rich influencer life isn't super relatable, I really related to her questioning herself about how she wants to move on in her life, what makes her happy and how she identifies herself. When she gets into the situationship with Aly, everybody wants to put a label on her. But why would she need one? She likes who or what she likes.. so why would she need to put herself in a box? Aly was an amazing lover but it annoyed me, how she didn't help Lola focus on her summer goals at all. Her life was going relatively well for herself while Lola was clearly struggling. SPOILER! The ending satisfied me so much that I was itching to give it 5 stars. In the middle of reading this book I was just thinking "Lola should just choose herself. She really does not need a romantic relationship right now." And wow I just love seeing women find themselves and be happy in their own skin!!
