This book tells the story of a small bed & breakfast that has seen better days. When Calisa arrives at her great-aunt’s Faraway Inn, she just wants to get as far away from home as possible. She hopes to forget the events between her and her ex and simply find an escape in the middle of nowhere. But upon arrival, she feels unwelcome. Soon, however, things start to get a little strange, and she begins to wonder what kind of world she has stepped into. This charming book makes you feel cozy and enchanted. Since the entire story centers around the B&B as a place of escape for its visitors, readers experience that same sense of retreat while reading. Absolutely recommended. -

I can recommend this as wholeheartedly as I do with any of Sarah Beth Dursts' books. The atmosphere was perfectly charming and made you definitely want to have your own retrieve in the cozy little Inn that Calisas' great-aunt owns. The characters were equally charming, but also quirky (my favorite combo ofc) and made the story even richer. I thoroughly enjoyed this one and I am sure you might too, if you want to have a cozy little escape from this day and age <3
