Will she be able to bring sunlight to her village or will her attitude get her into trouble? I really really loved this book! I picked it up because of its absolutly gorgeous and unique design but the story was just as magnificent. It was giving Disney's Frozen in the best way possible and the setting of the small village was easy to imagine. I also enjoyed the character development of Aurora throughout the book. It was like learning and experiencing struggles together with her. There were many cute little details aswell, which made the whole story feel more realistic. I got very emotional at some points too <3 "The Sun And The Starmaker" is a sweet and romantic YA novel, full of magic and light!

First of all - the special edition is one of the most aesthetically beautiful books I have ever read. I truly hoped the story would live up to the exterior, and for the most part it did! This story is the most sparkling whimsical winter love story I have ever read with a very slow burn forced-proximity romance. I loved the setting and the lore of this book, it felt very much like a fairy-tale story. Unfortunately, I felt like the book could have been edited a little better, as there was at least one continuity error and a few smaller parts of the plot just didn’t add up. I also found the main character incredibly immature for over half of the book, although that is definitely a personal preference, seeing as one of her main personality traits was intended to be stubbornness, and by the end of the story she did have some good character development. Overall I did enjoy this book and the end definitely had me feeling emotional. If you are in the mood for a beautiful love story that defies all odds between a grouchy ancient Starmarker and a ridiculously stubborn village girl then this one is for you!
