Fury Bound (Standard Edition)

I absolutely love this book. What a rollercoaster of emotions. It really felt like a big blockbuster. I was already a huge fan of Dire Bound. It takes off immediately where book 1 ended. Soo many things happen, so many twists and the ending - excuse me. I did not see it coming at all. My favourite character is still Anassa. But in this book, I also grew very fond of Cratos. And my favourite line of this serie is "I waited centuries for you". Everybody who has read it, knows exactly what I mean. OMG, it was emotionally damaging. I cried so much and had to take a break. Absolutely beautiful. It will probably be one of my favourite line in a book. One thing, which I was not too happy about, was that too many things happen and sometimes too many twists. I’m hoping in the final book, things will slow down a little bit and ties up all the loose ends. But I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what will happen. I highly recommend this book who loved book 1, The Wolf king series and Fourth Wing.

There was way too much going on, at the cost of building characters and relationship. None of it felt meaningful and there were also so many holes and things that just didnt make aaaaaany sense. I am really disappointed and sad because I loved the first one regardless of similarities to other books. Don’t get me wrong, you can read it and its ok, it just fell flat for me, I was not hooked at all.
