An Absorbing Biography of a Dog
This iconic biography of the poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning's spaniel really captured my heart. It is quite unserious and quirky compared to the other novels and essays that Virginia Woolf published, which makes me adore this even more. It really shows the range of language and genre that Woolf was able to write in.
