I started this book with low expectations, everywhere I went people claimed that the main character is insufferable and a terrible friend. While I can see that people feel that way I didn't think he was like that all the time. was he selfish? absolutely, but I was prepared for a lot worse. Over all the writing of the book really took some of it away too. It was very easy to get through the book and towards the end I really enjoyed myself reading it. the shirt chapters and diary insights help with that. The mc was just really caught up in something that he thought was his entire life, being torn apart. i kind of get his attitude sometimes, and I don't think all was meant too seriously. He definitely came around and the other characters were just great. so, despite a lot of errors I really enjoyed the book. Especially non-binary Devon who struggled to find out what identity is best suiting. That is something I just haven't read before and I liked that sort of insight.

I had some struggles with the main character and his attitude towards the people that are close to him. But I still enjoyed reading this a lot, especially after the character Devin showed up to make everything better.
