Patti Smith is THE great lyricist of our time - unfamiliar with her other work, I slept on her writing 'til now. I got this book recommended to me by a dear friend, who suggested I don't have to know Patti Smith's work or life to enjoy this. How right they were! I've fallen absolutely in love with the creativity, Smith's fascination with the world and her capability to turn the mundane into the extraordinary. A read like no other!
