Portrait

Dr. Vishal Chaudhary is Lecturer of Physics of Complex Life-Matter Interface Dynamics at Mahidol University, Thailand since 2025. Prior to this, he served as Assistant Professor of Physics at the Bhagini Nivedita College, University of Delhi, India for 8 years. He obtained his BSc (H) in Physics, MSc and PhD in Physics from the University of Delhi, India. He has been associated with the development of sensors, including gas sensors, biosensors and nanosensors, which integrate modern-day technology, including sensors, nanotechnology, artificial intelligence, bioinformatics, and medical diagnostics for One Health management. He is well recognized for his contributions to sensors and nanotechnology-based One Health Management, attested by over 100 research publications in journals of international repute. He has been honored with several recognitions, including the Agents of Change Award 2023, Top 2% Scientists World 2023, Associate Editor at ECS Sensor Plus, SDG Service Award 2021 and Silver Country Coordinator Award 2022, for research and society contributions.

Nikhil Bhalla is currently working as an Assistant Professor, in the University of Ulster, UK. His research is in the area of biosensing with a prime focus on nanoplasmonic technologies and interfacial science of biosensing materials, transducers, and biorecognition layers. He focuses on the use of his developed sensors for healthcare and food applications. He did his postdoctoral training at OIST, Japan with Professor Amy Shen after receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Bath, UK, in 2016, M.S. in Microelectronics and Applications from CYCU, Taiwan and a first division honors degree (B.E. Hons) in Electronics and Instrumentation engineering from BITS-Pilani, India.
