ENGLISH DESCRIPTION
Behind the stories we were told, there are female figures who were forgotten, punished, or turned into villains, and who now reclaim their own voice.
For centuries, the great tales of gods, heroes, and legendary creatures have occupied the center of the collective imagination. Yet among battles, conquests, and heroic feats, many women's voices were pushed aside and reduced to symbols, warnings, or supporting characters in stories traditionally told from a male perspective.
In this fascinating journey, Mara Gold revisits the women who inhabited ancient myths: creators, monsters, strategists, sorceresses, queens, and rebels, whose complexity was minimized, misunderstood, or silenced for generations.
This book is an invitation to rediscover myths from a fresh perspective and to explore the stories of women whose true complexity remained hidden beneath centuries of misinterpretation and prejudice.
