Over twenty chapters, this book remembers her childhood activism, education battles, Underground Railroad labors, and human rights campaigns. She did not work alone. Working side by side with her family in their war on white supremacy and white racism, she was a renowned newspaper editor, journalist, educator, orator, civil rights leader, and community organizer fighting for Black liberation and equal rights for all.
