THE REGENERATIVE ERASER MEMORY VIEWER (REMV)
A New Theory of Dreaming, Memory, and the Developing Human Brain
Why do we remember some experiences for decades while other details disappear within hours or days? And what if forgetting is not simply a failure of memorybut part of how the brain manages the enormous amount of information it encounters every day?
The Regenerative Eraser Memory Viewer (REMV) explores a provocative new theory about the relationship between dreaming, memory, forgetting, sleep, and brain development.
At the center of the theory is a fundamental question: Does the brain need to preserve everything it experiences, or must it selectively protect what matters while allowing other information to weaken or disappear?
REMV proposes that dreaming may be connected to a selective information-management process. The theory introduces several original concepts, including Core Semantic Data (CSD), Fiber Details (FD), the Anchor Point Principle, Retrograde Cleaning, and the Aggregated Deletion Stream (ADS).
The book follows this question across the developing human brainfrom prenatal development and birth through infancy, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and aging. Along the way, it examines how memory develops, why early experiences may not become accessible autobiographical memories, how sleep changes throughout life, and what canand cannotbe inferred from dreams.
But this is not a book that asks you to simply accept a new theory.
