Meine letzte Rezension Sunrise on the Reaping (the Hunger Games) von Suzanne Collins
Sunrise on the Reaping is one of the best books in the entire franchise. Haymitch's experience in the Hunger Games was absolutely heartbreaking, shed light onto his character and gave him some much deserved depth. Just like Haymitch, the reader doesn't get a moment's rest before the next tragedy hits them in the face. Sunrise on the Reaping feels very reminiscent of the fist book of the Hunger Games trilogy, so if you enjoyed that, you're going to love this book. A big recommendation for all Hunger Games fans and anyone looking for a well-written book by an author who knows how to write amazing stories with important political and social commentary.

Sunrise on the Reaping (the Hunger Games)

Sunrise on the Reaping is one of the best books in the entire franchise.     Heaven Official's Blessing 1: Tian Guan Ci Fu (Novel) 1

    I've decided to re-write this entire review after finishing the whole series since I felt like my original review was no longer sufficient. Heaven Official's Blessing was recommended to me by my friend and it was what got me fully back into reading. Let me tell you, I got SO obsessed SO quickly! Words cannot describe the love I have for this story. Humour, suspense, magic, romance, angst, Heaven Official's Blessing has it all. Our protagonist, Xie Lian, is one of the most likeable characters out there, and his story (especially his past) will captivate you and breakt your heart. He suffers through immense hardships which test not only his morals but his humanity in itself, more than once did I find my heart aching for him. The romance in this story would be considered slow-burn, which I really appreciated. The characters are definitely drawn to one another since their first meeting, but we still get to see their relationship grow throughout the span of this series. The protagonists and many of the side-characters now have a special place in my heart, and I'm so so glad I got introduced to these beautiful books. Overall just a big BIG recommendation from my end <3

    Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation 1: Mo Dao Zu Shi (Novel)

    After reading Heaven Official's Blessing and being absolutely obsessed, I of course had to read this story as well. The plot and amount of characters felt a bit confusing at first, more so than it did for TGCF, but once I got through that initial confusion, I loved MDSZ just as much! The main characters as well as many of the side characters are well-written and the relationships between them are very complex, which creates a highly interesting plot with many unexpected twists. This story was also one of the most heartbreaking ones I've read in my entire life, the fates of certain characters left me solemn for days after reading. I definitely recommend these novels to anyone who enjoyed Heaven Official's Blessing or any other damnei, because it simply is a must-read within this genre (and beyond)

    In die Wildnis / Warrior Cats Staffel 1 Band 1

    Ich habe die Warrior Cats Reihen in meiner Kindheit regelrecht verschlungen und finde sie nach wie vor sehr toll! Die Charaktere sind sehr liebenswert und die Handlung ist auch super spannend. Teilweise werden auch sehr düstere Themen angesprochen, Gewalt und Tod spielen ebenfalls oft eine Rolle, deshalb finde ich diese Bücher auch für ältere Kinder und sogar junge Erwachsene geeignet. Ich würde diese Reihe auf jeden Fall jedem empfehlen, der Katzen und generell spannende Tiergeschichten mag.

    Unten am Fluss – »Watership Down«

    Unten am Fluss ist eine Geschichte, die mich schon seit meiner Kindheit begleitet. Das Schicksal von Hazel, Fiver und Co. nimmt einen wirklich sehr mit und man hat vom Anfang bis zum Ende das Gefühl, mit ihnen auf der großen Reise zu sein. Die Charaktere haben sehr viel Persönlichkeit, werden aber gleichzeitig nicht zu sehr vermenschlicht, sodass sie sich trotzdem noch wie Tiere verhalten, dies finde ich sehr spannend, da dies für einen anderen Blickwinkel in manchen Situationen sorgt. Dieses Buch ist definitiv ein Muss in jedem Bücherregal!
