Meine letzte Rezension The Baby Dragon Café von A. T. Qureshi
Das Buch war wohl ganz in Ordnung. Die Charaktere waren ganz süß und ich liebe Drachen über alles, was dem Buch natürlich auch einen Pluspunkt gegeben hat. Allerdings war die Übersetzung viel zu oft nicht gut überdacht, weswegen die Sätze teilweise sehr befremdlich geklungen haben und es waren viel zu viele Grammatik- bzw ab und zu auch Logikfehler vorhanden. Das hat mir das Leseerlebnis sehr erschwert. Das wird sich alles hoffentlich mit der nächsten Auflage des Buches geändert haben, wenn es nochmal überarbeitet wurde. Auch ist bei mir absolut keine Spannung aufgebaut worden und die Auflösung der sogenannten "Probleme" welche die Story überhaupt vorangetrieben haben, war einfach nur eine totale Enttäuschung. Die Romanze war ganz sweet, wenn auch etwas unspektakulär. Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass dieses Buch allen gut gefallen könnte, welche ein sehr leichtes Buch suchen, mit einem Hauch Fantasy und süßer Lovestory ohne viel Drama. Für mich war es leider nicht das Richtige.

    Dead Silence

    One of the best books in the genre of space horror that I´ve ever read! I was hooked from the very first page and just could not stop reading! Loved this so much and definitely need more where that came from!

    Tauche ein in die Welt der Scholomance! In dieser Schule gibt es nur ein Ziel: überleben, auch wenn die Schule es so schwer wie möglich gestaltet. Düster, magisch, sarkastisch, mit starker Protagonistin und viel schwarzem Humor! Eine meiner absoluten Lieblingsreihen!

    A Dowry of Blood

    Just... Wow! It's hard to find the words to describe just how in love I am with this book! The writing style was just incredible, the story dark and tender and so full of feeling! This book had me firmly in it's grip from the very first page until the very last one. I'm definitely going to read every single book the author is going to publish from now on. I've become a huge fan!

    I´m in love with this book! It´s wonderfully cozy with heartwarming characters and a great story written with humour and a lot of love! 10/10

    Cozy fantasy at it's finest! The idea is so unique, of us falling asleep and landing in a place, where we can just shop for dreams! I loved the coziness and the playfulness of this book! It was so heartwarming as well as deep at times, it just made me smile and cry so much! And the characters were so lovely, it was really hard to let them go. This is the perfect book for all the cozy fantasy readers out there, looking for their next read!

    The Luminous Dead

    This was my first book from the author and what can I say... I LOVE! I loved the claustrophobic, psychological horror, the story was captivating from the start and I just flew through the pages because I just HAD to know what would happen next, what was real and what was caused by imagination and isolation? IT WAS GENIUS! I'm definitely going to read more of Caitlin Starling!

    Eine meiner absoluten Lieblingsreihen! Actionreich, rasant und so lustig! Diesen Squad muss man einfach lieben! Tolle Story und viele freche Sprüche von unseren sehr unterschiedlichen und toll ausgearbeiteten Charakteren! Absolutes Highlight, muss definitiv mehr gehyped werden!

    The Graceview Patient

    Oh damn, what to say about this book? I'm still shaking thinking about it, thinking about how I felt while reading it. This story crawls under your skin and won't let you go until you've read every single page and even then, it still lingers. I've got goosebumps all over. It was absolutely eerie and amazing! Just like in "The luminous dead" the author knows how to give us the best psychological horror, making you question reality, what is real and what isn't. I LOVE IT SO MUCH! If you like these kinds of books, trust me, this is a must read!
