The Jewel of Seven Stars is a supernatural horror novel written by Bram Stoker, the author of Dracula. The story follows Malcolm Ross, a young lawyer who becomes obsessed with the legend of an ancient Egyptian queen named Tera. Tera was known for her beauty and cruelty, and it is said that she was buried alive with a priceless jewel known as the ""Jewel of Seven Stars.""Malcolm is drawn to the story of Tera and becomes convinced that her tomb must be opened. He teams up with an archaeologist named Professor Trelawny and his daughter Margaret to uncover the tomb and retrieve the jewel. However, they soon discover that Tera's spirit is still alive and seeking revenge on those who disturbed her tomb.As the group delves deeper into the mystery of Tera and the jewel, they are faced with supernatural occurrences and unexplainable phenomena. They must fight to stay alive and prevent Tera from unleashing her wrath on the world once again. The Jewel of Seven Stars is a thrilling tale of ancient curses, supernatural powers, and the battle between good and evil. It is a must-read for fans of classic horror and suspense.Sooth to say, it made me shudder and my flesh creep to touch that hand that had lain there undisturbed for so many thousands of years, and yet was like unto living flesh. Underneath the hand, as though guarded by it, lay a huge jewel of ruby; a great stone of wondrous bigness, for the ruby is in the main a small jewel. This one was of wondrous colour, being as of fine blood whereon the light shineth. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
