Red Dragon The original Hannibal Lecter classic (Hannibal Lecter)

So I obviously only read this book because I watched Hannibal the series. But for anyone who didn't, we follow Will Graham on a case about the Tooth Fairy. A murderer killing whole families and claiming he's not a Tooth Fairy but the Mighty Red Dragon inspired by William Blakes painting. Diving into the dragons becoming and following Will on a run against time to catch the dragon before its next victims, we read a horrible and chilling story filled with action and suspense. The story pretty much matches the last 5-6 episodes of the show, with a few changes and a bit more backstory on Mr.D, which surprised me positively. Negatively, was the part with racist and offensive wording that Thomas Harrison used. Maybe "understandable" for the time he wrote this book, but still horrible and bad. The book also bored me immensely in the first quarter. The rest was good, but I kind of needed to fight through the first 100 pages.
