Angels & Demons / Robert Langdon 1 A Novel

This was such a great reading experience. I have seen the movie about a million times, because I just love the mysterious secret society and the quest elements. I loved expriencing the story via the book, it feels even more emersive and its such a quick read!

I read this on a 4 day trip to Rome which enhanced both the book and my trip. One positive is definitely that you can finish the 620 pages on a 4 day trip. My only problem with it was that Dan Brown seems to think he's a lot cleverer than he is. The book seems to take itself very seriously while delivering riddles on the level of Indiana Jones or detective book for kids. It's definitely a fun adventure, but the insistence of the book to make complex points about science vs. religion don't match the tone of the mystery for me.
