This Is Gonna Hurt is music, photography, and life through the distorted lens of Nikki Sixx, bassist for heavy metal rock band Mötley Crüe’s and the New York Times bestselling author of The Heroin Diaries. A combination of powerful prose and dramatic photographs, This Is Gonna Hurt is an arresting, deeply personal look through the eyes of a real rock star at a stark, post-addiction world.

Buch (Taschenbuch)
"If they can make you feel, they must be special" (p.10)
This book is a gold mine for everyone who doubts oneself or thinks he / she can't meet all requirements. Nikki Sixx not only finds the right words but also accentuates his messages with his own experiences, his photos and songs. You have to take a break from reading sometimes to mull over everything, take your emotions as they come and listen to suitable ( Nikki Sixx) songs. It's an amazing book which, on one side, demands a lot from his reader, but on the other, left you lucky and brings you closer to the author. To answer your last sides question, Nikki: Yes, I'm with you!
