    Really Good English Book

    "A Wizard of Earthsea" form 1968 is a fantasy-book from Ursula Le Guin and tales the reader the story of Ged and his adventure to be a real Wizard in the World of Earthsea. As Ged saves his village with magic, a wizard comes to the village and takes Ged as emprentice. He goes to the school of wizard to learn the lore of magic. As he accidently unleashes a Shadow creatur, he hunts the Shadows in the farthest corners of Earthsea. In my opinon, the book is written very well. The story is also really good and I had fun at reading. The Charakters are also written organic and you make yourself a really good picture of the charakters. Sometimes, the word "and" si used way to often like: "You need this, and this, and this...". Sometimes that is a little bit confusing. At the end, i liked the pacing of the story. Mrs. Le Guin has a really good writing style. Ged has make a lot of cool things, with his friend Vetch at his adventure. I recommend this book for everyone, who likes a cool and simple Story with magic and fantasy. It have a little bit of "Harry Potter", but it have somthing for itself. I like this book and recommend it!

    The one thing thou shall have to conquer is thine own shadow

    Ged always had his wits about him. He is overly smart after all - maybe too smart for his own good. And when he learned everything his village had to teach him at the young age of 12, he knew it was time to seek knowledge and nurture his powers elsewhere. As time goes by and Ged grows more and more frustrated with the restrictions placed upon him and his magic, he decides to take matters into his own hands. A decision that costs him dearly, for he unleashes a dark terrible force born from within him, and so Ged's arrogance reveals itself to be the true bane of his existence. A beautiful coming-of-age story about a young wizard prodigy, who has to confront his inner demon, learn the ethical use of his power, and understand what it truly means to keep balance in a world that is so easily thrown out of its natural equilibrium.
