The Mist

I absolutely loved the story and this edition! The whole story line had me in goosebumps - if you’re not familiar with the storyline of the Mist, it’ll give you the creeps! One of the best examples why he’s the ‘king’ of horror!

This book lacks depth and relatability as well as tension. The ending simply comes as another disappointment. King fails to let the reader feel a bond to his characters so that no death really comes as a shock. The main character is not relatable at all, reading that book as a woman can be seen as a challenge given the fact that the main character still thinks about intercourse during an apocalypse. King's worst book by far!
