Heroes of Olympus, The, Book Four: House of Hades, The-(New Cover)

I couldn't help but think back to small little sassy little kid and the know-it-all tough kid that were Percy and Annabeth at the start of Percy Jackson and the Olympians. Even at the start of Heroes of Olympus they were still pretty child-like (as much as you can be after fighting in a war) but seeing them go through Tartarus...all they had was each other and the hope that their friends would meet them at the Doors of Death. (And Percy finally figured out he could use Riptide as a pen. Only took him like And their friends up above on the Argo II had no clue how long it would take those two to get to the Doors or if they were even still alive after falling into the pit. I was never more gratefull to have started this series after it was completely published than after Mark of Athena. A brilliant book with a location from the Myths I have always been quite curious about. And you get a little more insight on Nico (one of my favorite characters from the entire universe) and more bonding with a couple of really unlikely duos that Rick Riordan just pulled out of nowhere.
